David is an environmental engineer and consultant with a decade of experience in the industry, R&D and academia. David is a founder in residence at Deep Science Ventures, where he is solving inland urban water scarcity through science, critical thinking, and nature-based solutions. He is also an independent contractor at APEC, where he is developing recommendations and resources to support sustainable circular economy industrial parks in the Asia-Pacific region. He has excellent skills in R&D, water management and supply, wastewater treatment, and environmental sustainability, which is demonstrated in his history of working in the environmental consulting and services industries, including research facilities.

David is passionate about environmental protection and advocacy, and he hosts and produces the Green Living Chats podcast, where he discusses emerging environmental issues and challenges worldwide, and promotes environmental-related projects. He is also a scholar at the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens, and the Industry 5.0 ambassador for Ghana, where he fosters waste prevention education and consulting to build a wasteless world. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Environmental Engineering at Hohai University, and his research focuses on using sustainable microbial electrochemical technologies and microalgae in wastewater treatment and bioenergy production. He has made numerous significant contributions to scientific research and publications and is open to fruitful collaborations and partnerships in his fields of expertise.

David is vastly competent with excellent environmental monitoring and analysis skills, LCAs, qualitative research and sustainability consultancy with advanced computer knowledge, public speaking and excellent communication skills. He has a rich working (with diverse cultures, people and industries) and living experience in Europe, Asia, Africa and America. 

He is very passionate about environmental protection, advocacy, sustainability, building a regenerative ecosystem and education. He is immensely enthused about gender balance and youth empowerment, especially within Africa.
